If you come to either site for a pre-booked appointment or to bring in samples, we ask that you wear a face mask or face covering, avoid using the toilet and attend alone where possible as family members will be required to wait outside.  Please don’t arrive early and only enter the surgery a minute before your appointment time.  Please only attend if you are fit and well and have no COVID-19 symptoms as listed on the home page.

If you are dropping off a repeat prescription request please place in the box on the outside of the building or email gsj.prescriptions@nhs.net

If you wish to book an appointment, please use online services such as; Patient Access and myGP. Alternatively call 01892 544777.  For all non-urgent bookings/enquires please call after 2pm.

Coronavirus England - Advice for Patients

First Contact Physiotherapy Assessment Service Now Available

For all patients with musculoskeletal problems you can go direct to a triage physiotherapist without having to see a GP first who can:

  • Assess you and offer a diagnosis
  • Give expert advice on how best to manage your condition
  • Refer you on to specialist services if necessary.

The physiotherapist can assess:

  • All soft tissue injuries, sprains, strains or sports injuries
  • Joint pain (arthritis)
  • Spinal pain including lower back pain, mid-back pain and neck pain.
  • Possible problems with muscles, ligaments, tendons or bone (e.g. forearm pain, foot pain)

If you would like an appointment with the First Contact Physiotherapist please call the surgery to book in via RECEPTION.

Disabled Access

Grosvenor has consultation rooms and treatment rooms on the ground floor. A disabled toilet is also available.

St James also has a ground floor consulting room accessible to those with disabilities.


Grosvenor has emergency parking for patients reserved for those with mobility issues or the very frail. Please inform reception if you think you will need one of these spaces at the time of booking. Doctors may need to leave on emergency visits at any time so please do not park at the front of the practice or block any cars in. Meadow Road multi-storey car park is the nearest available parking and is only a 5 minute walk away.

St James has limited parking spaces for patients and time restricted on street parking in Carlton Road.
